Morocco’s aeronautic sector is expanding and attracting more investors and more major international aerospace players. German Masterflex group and French Duqueine group have launched lately construction works of their plants in Casablanca’s Midparc International Free zone.

Masterflex will invest $5 million in its Casablanca production site. The plant will specialize in manufacturing sophisticated hoses and connection systems made of high-performance elastomers and modern textiles, exclusively for aerospace applications, in close cooperation with the group’s German locations.

“Thanks to the support of the Ministry of Industry and our institutional partners, this project marks a new chapter in the cooperation between Morocco and Germany in the field of aerospace,” said Peter Bremer, Managing Director of Matzen & Timm GmbH, a subsidiary of Masterflex.

The plant will produce high performance bellows and hoses that are designed in Germany and made in Morocco starting Q4 2026 before reaching its full capacity by 2030.

For its part, the French Duqueine group, a composite manufacturer, has also launched construction works of its facility in Casablanca aeronautic industrial zone.

Duqueine group, which produces aircraft parts used by Airbus, Boeing, Dassault, and Comac, will invest $3.3 million in its Casablanca production site.

The French group specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-performance composite parts and sub-assemblies in the aeronautic industrial sectors. Established in 1982 by Gilles Duqueine, founder and president of the Group, the company employs up to a 700-workforce in France, Romania, and Mexico. Casablanca will be its 3rd plant installed overseas.

Morocco has become an attractive location for aircraft manufacturers due to its stability, business-friendly climate, proximity to Europe, and incentives to foreign investors.

Over 150 companies are operating in the country and generating $2.8 billion in annual revenue. These companies employ 26,000 engineers and skilled workers who produce fuselages, structural components, interior furnishings, and wiring systems.
