Tangier pilots digital kiosks to simplify public services

    ayaApril 9, 2026

The city of Tangier has launched a pilot phase of digital kiosks aimed at simplifying administrative services and bringing them closer to citizens, as part of a broader national digital transformation effort.

The project is being tested inside the train station under a national program led by the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, in partnership with the General Directorate of National Security and the National Railway Office.

The initiative also covers major cities such as Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech, where train stations were selected due to high passenger traffic.

At this stage, the kiosks provide access to services related to digital identity using the national electronic ID card, with plans to expand services gradually in the future.
