The team led by Moqaddem Tlehouni Mohammed Amine from Settat, representing the Casablanca-Settat region, won the title of the 25th Hassan II Prize for Traditional Equestrian Arts “Tbourida”, held as part of Morocco’s 2026 Senior Championship.
The competition, organized at the Royal Equestrian and Tbourida Complex Dar Es Salam in Rabat from June 15 to 21 under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI, saw Tlehouni Mohammed Amine’s team finish ahead of the team led by El Hloua Abdelhadi from the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, which secured the silver medal, while the bronze medal went to the team of Anjar El Mehdi from the Marrakech-Safi region.
In the Youth category, the title was awarded to the team of Zrizaa Badr from Mediouna. The second place went to El Khadi Badr Eddine’s team from Youssoufia, while El Kazoumi Houssam’s team from Guelmim finished third.
The Senior competition featured 18 teams competing over four days, with ten teams advancing to the final stage. The Youth category included six teams representing several regions of Morocco.
The Moroccan Senior Champion received a prize of 500,000 dirhams, while the runners-up were awarded 300,000 and 200,000 dirhams respectively.
Teams were evaluated according to technical and artistic criteria, including collective synchronization, discipline during performances, uniform rifle movements, coordinated ceremonial firing, rider coordination, horse control, and the overall presentation of both riders and horses.
