Judicial police officers in Tangier, working in coordination with national security intelligence services, arrested two women on Sunday, April 12, on suspicion of involvement in the possession and distribution of drugs and psychotropic substances
The suspects were apprehended inside a hotel in the city center, where a search operation led to the seizure of 3,000 Rivotril pills, along with a sum of money suspected to be linked to the activity, as well as mobile phones believed to have been used in facilitating coordination and distribution
The two individuals have been placed under judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, in order to determine the full scope of the case, identify additional suspected acts, and explore any potential links to wider criminal networks involved in illicit drug trafficking.
