French-Moroccan actress Nadia Farès died in Paris at the age of 57 after falling into a coma following a swimming pool accident.
Her death was announced by her daughters, who shared their grief and referred to her artistic career.
Reports indicate that she was found unconscious on April 11 in a private club pool and was taken to hospital.
She remained in intensive care before passing away after her condition worsened.
Born in Marrakesh, she became known in French cinema through films such as The Crimson Rivers and The Nest, as well as the series Marseille on Netflix.
