The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announced that the Commander of the Faithful, King Mohammed VI, will perform the Eid al-Fitr prayer on Friday at the Ahl Fes Mosque in the Mechouar Saïd in Rabat.
According to an official statement, the Eid al-Fitr prayer will take place on Friday, 1 Shawwal 1447 AH, corresponding to March 20, 2026, at the Ahl Fes Mosque.
The same source added that the prayer will be broadcast live on national radio and television starting at 10 a.m.
This announcement comes as part of preparations for the celebration of Eid al-Fitr in Morocco.
