Mohamed Saad Barada, Morocco’s Minister of National Education, Preschool Education and Sports, attended the reception hosted by the French Embassy in Rabat on Tuesday evening, July 14, 2026, to mark France’s National Day, alongside government officials, diplomats and representatives of civil society.
Speaking on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco, Barada emphasized the depth of the longstanding relationship between Morocco and France, noting that bilateral cooperation continues to gain momentum across a wide range of sectors, driven by the shared commitment of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The minister stated that the partnership between Rabat and Paris continues to evolve on the basis of mutual respect and shared interests, reflecting the historic ties linking the two countries while creating new opportunities for cooperation in several strategic fields.
The official participation comes as Morocco-France relations continue to experience renewed momentum politically, economically and culturally, further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries and serving their common interests.
