Morocco’s Royal Football Federation will receive $31.5 million from FIFA following the national team’s impressive run to the quarter-finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The financial package includes $19 million for reaching the quarter-finals, $10 million for participating in the tournament, and an additional $2.5 million allocated to support the team’s pre-tournament preparation program.
The amount exceeds the financial rewards Morocco received after finishing fourth at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, when the federation collected approximately $25 million.
With the additional $10 million earned for winning the Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco’s total football-related prize money now exceeds $41 million. These funds are expected to support infrastructure projects, youth development programs and the continued growth of Moroccan football at both continental and global levels.
