According to local sources, many patients are still required to travel to healthcare facilities in Larache and Tangier to access medical services while the hospital remains out of operation.
Sources familiar with the situation stated that rehabilitation and repair works are ongoing, focusing on restoring damaged infrastructure and equipment affected by the flooding.
The same sources indicated that preparations are also underway to replace and renew medical equipment and technical installations that were impacted by the disaster.
Available estimates suggest that the reopening of the hospital may require additional weeks before all rehabilitation and equipment replacement operations are completed.
