The Court of First Instance in Benslimane issued its ruling on Monday in a case that attracted significant public attention following the circulation of a video involving a minor.
According to the court’s decision, the principal defendant was sentenced to four years in prison. A second defendant received a prison term of three and a half years, while a third defendant was sentenced to three years in prison.
The combined prison sentences imposed in the case amount to ten years.
On the civil side of the proceedings, the court awarded the association “Matqich Walidi” symbolic compensation of one Moroccan dirham in response to its claim.
The case originated after a video circulated widely on social media, prompting an investigation that led to the arrest and prosecution of the individuals concerned.
The ruling marks the latest stage in the judicial process, while legal avenues for appeal remain available in accordance with applicable law.
