A Moroccan student is receiving treatment at a hospital in China after being involved in a serious road accident earlier this month, while his family says it is facing significant challenges in covering the costs associated with his medical care.
According to information provided by relatives, Ibrahim Khalil Najmi was injured in a traffic accident on June 5 while accompanying a Saudi student. Both were transported to a public hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment.
Family members stated that the injuries required his admission to an intensive care unit, where he continues to receive specialized medical attention and ongoing treatment.
They also noted that the Chinese university where he studies contributed to covering the costs of his first surgical procedure. However, the expenses related to continued treatment and medical follow-up remain substantial.
In response to the situation, the family has relied on assistance from relatives, friends and charitable contributors, while also appealing for additional support to help ensure the continuation of his treatment.
As medical care continues, the family remains hopeful for an improvement in his condition and for his eventual recovery, allowing him to return to his studies after overcoming this health ordeal.
