New Agreement Aims to Boost Moroccan SMEs Through Capital Market Financing

    ayaMay 7, 2026

Casablanca Stock Exchange and Maroc PME signed a strategic framework agreement aimed at supporting the competitiveness and growth of Morocco’s micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through improved access to capital market financing.

The agreement was signed on April 29, 2026, by Nasser Seddiki, chief executive officer of the Casablanca Stock Exchange, and Anouar Alaoui Ismaïli, director general of Maroc PME, as part of Morocco’s broader strategy to strengthen the national entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The partnership seeks to establish a cooperation framework designed to help promising businesses improve their structure, resilience and competitiveness while preparing them to meet financial market requirements.

The agreement is based on the complementarity between the support mechanisms offered by the Casablanca Stock Exchange and the programs managed by Maroc PME, particularly within the framework of the 2025-2030 SME Charter.

The partnership also includes joint initiatives focused on business orientation, governance and transparency training, as well as regional awareness campaigns highlighting financing opportunities available through the capital market.
