Kamel Heddan, General Commissioner of the International Agriculture Fair in Meknes, announced that the current edition attracted 1.137 million visitors, highlighting the event’s role as a national, African, and international platform dedicated to the agricultural sector.
According to the figures provided, the event featured around 1,500 exhibitors, including 360 international participants representing 76 countries, as well as 538 Moroccan agricultural cooperatives, underscoring its role in promoting local products and supporting the social economy.
The official stated that these numbers confirm the fair’s position as a space for exchange and cooperation among stakeholders in the agricultural sector at both national and international levels.
The exhibition also served as a venue for professional discussions and meetings, with activities centered on the theme of sustainable livestock production in support of food sovereignty.
