According to media reports, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection has launched an international tender to acquire an advanced robotic-assisted surgical system for Fez Province, with a budget estimated at 39.6 million dirhams.
The system is intended for use across multiple medical specialties, including general surgery, urology, gynecology, thoracic surgery, pediatric surgery, and ear, nose, and throat procedures.
It is designed to integrate with more than 33 surgical instruments and additional accessories, enabling highly precise operations, particularly in areas that are difficult to access through conventional surgical methods.
This project is part of broader efforts to modernize the healthcare sector, strengthen medical infrastructure, and align services with international standards through the adoption of advanced medical technologies.
