du Launches AI Park to Kickstart UAE’s Vision of Digital Sovereignty

Mohammedia – Dubai-based telecommunications company du showed off its AI Park and National Hybrid AI platform at Gitex Global 2025, taking a big step toward the UAE’s objective of creating a secure and independent artificial intelligence ecosystem.

The news at Gitex Global 2025 shows that du is committed to building the country’s digital future by bringing together hyperscale infrastructure, green technologies, and AI innovation clusters.

The goals of the programs are to make the UAE a leader in AI and give businesses and government agencies a completely sovereign space to research and use AI.

du AI Park to host hyperscale data centers and innovation hubs

du’s AI Park in Dubai will have several hyperscale data centers that are cooled by liquids and can handle up to 1 gigawatt of capacity over time. The infrastructure is designed to handle the most demanding AI tasks while also complying with the UAE’s regulations on data sovereignty and security.

The park will have more than just computing capacity. It will also have AI research labs, startup incubators, and a sovereign hybrid AI production cluster. This will let innovators prototype, scale, and deploy AI solutions safely in the country.

The AI Park is being built in stages over the course of five years. The first deployments will focus on research, incubation, and hyperscale computing.

The park’s long-term goal is to connect the National Hybrid AI platform with sophisticated connectivity options, such as GPU-as-a-Service offerings. This will make the park a central point for digital innovation that fits with national plans.

“du’s AI Park gives the UAE a sovereign, safe, and future-proof platform for artificial intelligence,” said CEO Fahad Al Hassawi.

“We are not only delivering world-class digital infrastructure but also building the foundation for a thriving AI innovation ecosystem. This underscores du’s role in advancing the UAE’s economic diversification and technological leadership,” he added.

The park will use du’s local and international connections, including subsea and terrestrial cable networks, to serve as a digital hub for the region.

It was made with ideas of auditability, transparency, and governance in mind, so it follows all national AI data and security rules. By integrating long-lasting, liquid-cooled infrastructure with an ecosystem for startups and talent, du wants to set worldwide standards for reliable AI technology.

National hybrid AI platform to drive enterprise and government adoption

du Tech launched its National Hybrid AI platform, which is an expansion of its National Hypercloud, together with the AI Park.

The platform lets businesses build AI apps on the cloud of their choice and safely run them on du Tech’s own infrastructure. It combines strong 5G and fiber networks, partnerships with large cloud providers, and a group of system integrators to form one complete AI system that can manage the setup and upkeep of AI tasks on a large scale.

Businesses and government agencies can use the National Hybrid AI platform to develop, operate, and grow applications without having to make big expenditures up front.

It offers a safe and affordable way to promote AI-driven innovation, allowing businesses to move smoothly from development to production while staying in full compliance with national AI legislation.

The UAE wants to be the world’s leading AI-first nation, and du’s AI Park and National Hybrid AI platform together create a complete and independent AI ecosystem that will help them reach that goal.

By putting together scalable computational infrastructure, eco-friendly data center techniques, and innovation hubs for startups and people, du is raising the bar for secure, independent, and future-ready AI technology in the region.

The dual launch at Gitex Global 2025 shows how du is helping the UAE use AI to boost the economy, lead technology, and make the digital world better.
