Royal Air Maroc (RAM), Moroccan carrier and global partner of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), announced new entry requirements for travelers visiting Morocco during the tournament period.

RAM confirmed that travelers from some countries will now be required to obtain an electronic travel authorization for Morocco (AEVM) prior to departure, RAM said in a statement.

RAM emphasized that the e-visa will be mandatory for entry into Morocco between September 25, 2025, and January 25, 2026, and must be presented both at departure and upon arrival.

Countries included in the new requirement include Algeria, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Gabon, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and Tunisia, all of which are typically exempt from visa requirements.

“To attend CAN 2025 matches, travelers must apply for the AEVM through the ‘YALLA’ mobile application developed by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF),” the statement said.

For other travel purposes- including tourism, business, or family visits – applications must be submitted via the official portal http://acces-maroc.ma.

The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will feature 24 national teams competing across nine stadiums in six host cities: Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, Tanger, Marrakech, and Agadir.
