Mohammedia – Apple revealed the iPhone 17 series, which includes four models: iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, each offering new features that make phones faster, brighter, and more powerful.
All models use Apple’s A19 chip, and the Pro models use A19 Pro, which is faster and more energy-efficient than last year’s chip. This means apps open quicker, multitasking is smoother, and the battery lasts longer. The chip also powers AI features like smarter camera effects and improved video performance.
The screen is a big upgrade, too. The iPhone 17 has a 6.3‑inch Super Retina OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and high brightness, so everything looks smooth and clear, even in bright sunlight.
The iPhone Air is very thin, just 5.6 mm, with a 6.5‑inch display, while Pro models go up to 6.9 inches and also support high refresh rates for smooth scrolling and videos.
As for cameras, the iPhone 17 and Air have a 48‑MP dual camera system for clear photos with telephoto and wide lenses. The Pro and Pro Max have three cameras with 48 MP each and up to 8x optical zoom, which means you can take detailed photos even from far away. The front camera is now 18 MP and uses AI to improve selfies and portrait shots.
Storage starts at 256 GB, enough for thousands of photos and apps, and goes up to 2 TB for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. Apple is also using eSIM technology in some models, which saves space for bigger batteries. Battery life is improved with the Pro Max lasting up to 39 hours of video playback, and the Air lasting up to 27 hours.
Upgrades also include faster connectivity. All iPhone 17 models support Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and 5G, which means faster internet, smoother video calls, and better streaming. Audio and AR experiences are also better thanks to spatial audio features.
Pricing starts at $799 for iPhone 17, $999 for iPhone Air, $1,099 for iPhone 17 Pro, and $1,199 for iPhone 17 Pro Max. The phones come in five colors: black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white.
While Morocco is not included in the first wave of iPhone 17 releases, new models usually reach the country within a few weeks, so the iPhone 17 is expected to be available around mid‑October 2025.
