U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Wednesday highlighted the leadership of King Mohammed VI in promoting a new era of peace and prosperity, while welcoming the enduring partnership binding the USA and Morocco.

“Under President Trump’s and His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s leadership, we will continue to build a new era of peace and prosperity in the years ahead”, the U.S. official said in a press release on the 26th anniversary of the Monarch’s ascension to the Throne, celebrated this July 30.

Marco Rubio also expressed, on behalf of the United States, his greetings to King Mohammed VI and the people of Morocco on the occasion of this anniversary.
