Morocco’s head coach Tarik Sektioui has unveiled the final squad for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), set to take place from August 2 to 30 in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

The announcement was made on Wednesday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora. The Moroccan home-based national team, made up exclusively of players from the domestic league, will compete in Group A, with all matches to be held in Nairobi, Kenya.

It’s a tough draw for the Atlas Lions, who will face hosts Kenya, as well as Angola, DR Congo, and Zambia.

Having lifted the CHAN title in 2018 and 2020, Morocco are eyeing a third triumph.

    Here is Morocco’s 28-man squad:

Mehdi Harrar, Rachid Ghanimi, Omar Agdazou, Mohamed Mfid, Mohamed Boulaksout, Mehdi Mchakhchakh, Marouane Loudani, Bouchaib Arassi, Abdelhaq Amselam, Youssef Belaamrab, Fouad Zahouani, Ayoub Khairi, Mohamed Rabii Harimat, Amine Souane, Houssam Essadik, Reda Hajji, Anas Bach, Khalid Ait Ourkhan, Saber Bougrine, Youssef Mehri, Anas El Mehrawi, Saifeddine Bouhra, Khalid Baba, Imad Riahi, Salahddine Rahhouli, Ayoub Moulloua, Younes El Kaabi, and Oussama Lamlioui.
