Rabat — Nigeria and Algeria are going head-to-head in their final match tonight, July 13,  as part of WAFCON 2024 at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca. The match will kick off at 8 p.m. Moroccan time.

Fans in Africa can watch the match live using CAF’s official broadcast partners, and streaming and score updates also available on CAF’s website and social media pages. For those in Morocco, tickets are available to attend the match in person at the stadium, and can be bought online at Webook.com.

Coming into the clash, Nigeria has secured their claim atop Group B, boasting back-to-back wins without conceding a goal, sealing their spot in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Algeria has kept itself unbeaten, with a signature 1‑0 win over Botswana. The Algerians maintained a clean sheet draw against Tunisia, securing four points.

Nigeria’s Coach Justine Madugu plans some strategic rotation. He will provide rest for key players like Deborah Abiodun and Asisat Oshoala, to test depth ahead of a potential meeting with hosts Morocco or Zambia.

Meanwhile, under French coach Farid Benstiti, Les Vertes believe in their growing cohesion and tactical discipline, with Marine Dafeur speaking of her team’s readiness to “give Nigeria a real fight.”

    Nigeria’s lineup:

    Goalkeeper: Chiamaka Nnadozie

Defenders: Oladipo – Demehin – Onome Ohale – Plumptre

Midfield: Christy Ucheibe – Ayinde – Jennifer Echegini

Forwards: Esther Okoronkwo – Chinwendu Ihezuo – Folashade Ijamilusi

    Algeria’s lineup:

Algeria is likely to play 4-4-2. With captain Naima Bouhani reportedly injured, their attacking shape may shift. Coach Benstiti expects a disciplined midfield anchored by Marine Dafeur and a backline focused on structure.

    Score Prediction:
All predictions point to a Nigeria win, but tolerably tighter than previous meetings.

Prediction website Sportskeeda forecasts:  Nigeria 2–0 Algeria
