Contact with the young men was reportedly lost after they set out to reach Ceuta by sea, adding their names to the growing list of people reported missing in recent days.
Spanish authorities have stressed the importance of officially reporting missing persons to the Civil Guard or police authorities, both in Ceuta and elsewhere in Spain.
