Speaker of Morocco’s House of Representatives Rachid Talbi Alami received a French delegation in Rabat on Thursday as part of an official visit held alongside the 15th Morocco-France High-Level Meeting.

The delegation included Naïma Moutchou, France’s Minister for Overseas Affairs, National Assembly member Karim Ben Cheikh, and Senator Christian Cambon. Discussions focused on ways to further strengthen bilateral relations and reaffirmed the longstanding historical ties and strategic partnership between Morocco and France.
During the meeting, Talbi Alami expressed appreciation for France’s position supporting Morocco’s sovereignty over the Sahara and outlined the Kingdom’s foreign policy principles, which are based on respect for state sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-interference in internal affairs, and the peaceful settlement of disputes.
The talks also highlighted Morocco’s ongoing reform and development projects, the role of parliamentary diplomacy in deepening bilateral cooperation, and an exchange of views on several regional and international issues of common interest.
