Tangier Police responded promptly to a video circulated on social media showing several young men riding motorcycles as part of a wedding convoy while directing fireworks toward passing vehicles, in circumstances that allegedly endangered other road users.
Police investigations led to the identification of the individuals appearing in the footage, resulting in the immediate arrest of four suspects. Officers also seized two motorcycles believed to have been used during the incident.
The Tangier Prefectural Judicial Police has opened a judicial investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office to determine all the circumstances surrounding the case, establish any criminal responsibility, and take the legal measures warranted by the findings of the investigation.
