The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has announced that Morocco’s senior national team will return home early Sunday through Rabat-Salé Airport following the conclusion of its FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign, hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
According to the federation’s official statement, the team will depart from Boston before arriving in Rabat at approximately 1:00 a.m.
Morocco concluded its World Cup journey by reaching the quarter-finals, once again establishing itself among the world’s elite national teams after delivering a series of competitive performances throughout the tournament.
The Atlas Lions also finished as the only African and Arab team to reach the quarter-finals in the first-ever 48-team FIFA World Cup, ending the competition among the world’s top eight national teams.
