Morocco’s Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports announced that 337,192 students from public and private schools successfully passed the 2026 Baccalaureate examinations after combining the regular and resit sessions, resulting in an overall pass rate of 81.6%.
According to the ministry, 64,586 candidates earned their diploma during the resit session, which recorded an attendance rate of 86%. Female students achieved a pass rate of 84.5%, compared with 78.6% among male candidates.
For private candidates, 31,034 successfully passed the examinations across both sessions, representing a pass rate of 54.5%. Of these, 9,549 obtained their diploma during the resit session.
The ministry praised the commitment of students, teachers, administrative staff, families, local authorities, security services and all stakeholders involved in ensuring that the national examinations were conducted under appropriate conditions while preserving the credibility of Morocco’s Baccalaureate certificate and guaranteeing equal opportunities for all candidates.
