U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson praised Morocco’s leadership under King Mohammed VI, describing the Kingdom as a regional model for reform, development, and religious coexistence, as well as an indispensable strategic partner of the United States.
Speaking during the first international edition of the MAP Town Hall forum in Washington, Wilson highlighted Morocco’s constitutional reforms, economic development, and efforts to promote tolerance among different faiths.
He also recalled the long-standing ties between Morocco and the United States, noting that Morocco was the first country to recognize American independence and remains a reliable partner in trade, security, and regional stability.
