Judicial police officers in Beni Makada arrested a suspect on Saturday morning in connection with an investigation involving the possession of a bladed weapon and an incident that allegedly disrupted public order.
According to preliminary information, the suspect allegedly attempted to stop passing vehicles while carrying a knife in a public street. Following investigations, police identified the suspect’s location and arrested him at his residence.
During the operation, officers seized a knife believed to be linked to the incident. The suspect was placed in police custody under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor as investigations continue to establish all the circumstances surrounding the case before legal proceedings are initiated.
