Authorities in Rabat and Salé have implemented extensive security measures to accompany the ongoing Mawazine – Rhythms of the World Festival, as part of efforts to ensure the smooth and safe organization of the event.
Security personnel from various units have been deployed around concert venues and along the main roads leading to festival sites in order to facilitate crowd movement and maintain public order throughout the festivities.
The measures include security checkpoints and screening points at venue entrances, as well as organizational arrangements designed to streamline access and enhance visitor safety.
Mobile security teams and rapid intervention units have also been assigned to respond to any potential incidents, within a framework of continuous coordination among the different services involved.
In parallel, authorities are overseeing traffic management and pedestrian flows around the festival venues, particularly during periods of high attendance.
Mawazine is considered one of Morocco’s leading cultural and artistic events, attracting large audiences from across the Kingdom and abroad each year.
