A new food safety inspection operation in the city of Tangier has resulted in the seizure of a quantity of chicken deemed unfit for human consumption at Al Warda Market in the Jirari neighborhood of Beni Makada, as part of ongoing monitoring efforts carried out by the competent authorities.
According to available information, the seized products were removed and destroyed after inspection services determined that they did not meet the required health and safety standards for marketing and consumption, a measure aimed at protecting public health and ensuring the quality of food products offered to consumers.
The operation highlights the importance of continuous monitoring and inspection mechanisms within food distribution and retail channels, as well as the need to strengthen preventive measures designed to ensure compliance with applicable health regulations.
Food control campaigns continue to be conducted regularly across different areas of Tangier in order to identify potential violations related to the sale of products that may pose risks to consumer health, within the framework of the laws and regulations governing food safety and consumer protection.
