Nearly 1,000 people benefited from a multidisciplinary medical caravan organized in the commune of Sebt Zinat, within the Tangier-Assilah province, as part of efforts to improve access to healthcare services in rural areas.
The initiative brought together around 100 healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and technicians, who provided consultations, medical examinations, and preventive healthcare services.
Residents received care in several specialties, including general medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology, ear, nose and throat medicine, and dental care.
The program also included free medical tests, ultrasound examinations for pregnant women, and the distribution of medicines to patients requiring treatment.
Organizers stated that the initiative is part of broader efforts to strengthen healthcare access for rural populations and bring essential medical services closer to local communities.
A second medical caravan is expected to be organized in another rural area of Tangier-Assilah in the coming weeks as part of the ongoing outreach program.
