Amendis Tangier Union Denounces Delays in Resolving Workers’ Grievances

    ayaJune 13, 2026

The union representing workers, employees and executives at Amendis Tangier, affiliated with the Moroccan Labour Union, has issued a statement expressing concern over what it described as growing social tensions within the company and calling on management to accelerate the resolution of pending professional and social issues.

In the statement dated June 11, 2026, the union council said it had held a meeting to discuss the social and professional situation of employees, criticizing what it called delays in implementing commitments included in collective agreements signed between management and union representatives.

The statement called for the payment of the final tranche of collective agreement entitlements, the completion of organizational appointments based on transparent criteria, and the settlement of several files concerning different categories of employees.

It also demanded a review of the company’s internal regulations, the settlement of the “Prime d’Astreinte” file, and measures to address what the union described as unequal access to certain allowances and benefits.

The union reaffirmed its commitment to social dialogue, while also urging employees to remain mobilized ahead of possible future actions whose details, it said, would be announced later.
