Police services in Tangier have arrested a suspect in connection with an incident that came to light after the circulation of a video recorded in a public square in the city center.
According to available information, specialized police units conducted field investigations that led to the identification and arrest of the suspect near his residence. The vehicle he was reportedly using was also seized as part of the ongoing inquiry.
Search procedures carried out on the vehicle resulted in the discovery of items and substances that are currently being examined within the framework of the judicial investigation.
Investigators also sought to identify and locate the individual who appeared in the video as the alleged victim in order to gather information and clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In addition, authorities are examining digital content attributed to the suspect that may contain material linked to the incitement of sports-related violence. The investigation remains ongoing under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office to determine all relevant facts and circumstances of the case.
