Members of the Royal Gendarmerie attached to the Tangier company carried out an operation on Wednesday in the Didayat area of Kzenaya, resulting in the seizure of a shipment of nitrous oxide, commonly known as “laughing gas”, stored inside a warehouse.
According to available information, the operation followed field investigations and inquiries that led authorities to identify the warehouse before conducting the intervention under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor’s office.
Sources indicated that officers discovered an international freight transport truck inside the facility carrying quantities of nitrous oxide. The vehicle and its cargo were subsequently seized as part of the ongoing legal procedures.
An investigation has been opened under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities to determine the origin of the shipment, clarify the circumstances surrounding its storage, and identify any individuals who may be connected to the case.
The inquiries remain ongoing as authorities continue to gather information and establish the full details of the matter.
