Under the High Instructions of King Mohammed VI, the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity will launch the Marhaba 2026 operation on Wednesday to assist and welcome Moroccans living abroad during their summer travels.
According to a statement issued by the Foundation, the reception system will be activated simultaneously in Morocco, France, Spain, and Italy starting at midnight, in coordination with all relevant partners involved in the transit operation.
The 2026 edition, organized under the effective presidency of King Mohammed VI, includes a network of 26 reception centers located across Morocco and Europe to provide assistance and support services to members of the Moroccan diaspora.
Twenty centers will operate within Morocco at major ports, airports, border crossings, and rest areas, while six additional centers will be available in European ports located in Italy, France, and Spain.
Social assistance and medical support services will be provided from June 10 through September 15 to accompany travelers both upon arrival in Morocco and during their return journeys to their countries of residence.
Nearly 1,400 staff members, social workers, healthcare professionals, and volunteers have been mobilized to ensure the smooth operation of the program and provide assistance to beneficiaries throughout the travel season.
The operation is also supported by a Central Coordination Office in Rabat, responsible for monitoring field operations, coordinating with stakeholders, and handling requests and inquiries throughout the campaign.
