The Royal Moroccan Football Federation held its extraordinary and ordinary general assemblies on Friday at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, where several matters related to the development of national football were discussed.
The extraordinary assembly approved amendments to a number of provisions within the federation’s statutes, as part of efforts to align its regulatory framework with the ongoing evolution of Moroccan football.
During the ordinary assembly, participants reviewed the annual activity report highlighting key sporting and organizational achievements, as well as the financial report addressing governance and financial management within the federation.
Speaking at the event, Fouzi Lekjaa said the meeting forms part of the federation’s ongoing reform process aimed at strengthening and modernizing Moroccan football.
He also emphasized the importance of continuing these efforts as Morocco advances its preparations for the 20230 FIFA World Cup, which is expected to be a major milestone for the country’s sporting development.
