Morocco is expected to experience significantly warmer weather on Tuesday, according to forecasts issued by the national meteorological authorities, with the highest temperatures concentrated in inland and southern regions.
The forecast indicates that Aousserd will record the highest temperature in the country at 42°C. Errachidia and Marrakech are expected to reach 38°C, while Ouarzazate and Oujda could see temperatures of 37°C.
Beni Mellal and Taounate are forecast to record highs of 36°C, with Fez and Bouarfa reaching 35°C. Temperatures in Meknes, Khouribga and Tetouan are expected to range between 34°C and 35°C.
Coastal cities will remain considerably cooler due to the moderating influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca and El Jadida are expected to record highs of 24°C, while Essaouira and Dakhla should reach 25°C and Laayoune 26°C.
The forecast highlights the continued temperature contrast between Morocco’s coastal and inland regions, with hot summer-like conditions prevailing across much of the country’s interior.
