Fuel stations across Morocco began implementing a new reduction in diesel prices on Sunday, June 1, 2026, according to available information regarding the latest changes in fuel pricing.
The adjustment represents a decrease of approximately 0.53 dirhams per litre and applies exclusively to diesel. Gasoline prices remain unchanged under the latest revision.
The move follows a series of price changes recorded during May. Fuel distributors had introduced a decrease at the beginning of the month before increasing gasoline prices by around 0.50 dirhams per litre on May 16, while diesel prices remained stable at that time.
Following the latest reduction, the price of diesel is expected to settle at around 13.97 dirhams per litre in many service stations across the country, compared with approximately 14.50 dirhams before the adjustment. Minor differences may occur depending on the region and fuel brand.
Gasoline prices, meanwhile, are expected to remain close to 14.55 dirhams per litre in most Moroccan fuel stations.
Fuel price developments continue to attract attention from consumers and businesses alike, given their direct impact on transportation costs and a wide range of economic activities.
