Judicial authorities opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent prosecutor following the death of a young man working as a barber after an incident reported in the Al Ain Al Bakhrania area within the commune of Kelaa, part of Inzegane-Aït Melloul.
According to preliminary information, the incident involved an altercation that resulted in serious injuries. The victim was initially transferred to the provincial hospital in Inzegane before being moved to Mohammed VI University Hospital in Agadir, where his death was later recorded.
Royal Gendarmerie services launched an investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the case. A person suspected of connection to the incident was detained as part of the ongoing judicial procedures, while investigations continue under prosecutorial supervision.
