National Motorway Company of Morocco has announced a special mobilization plan ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday period, in anticipation of increased traffic across Morocco’s motorway network.
In a statement, the company said traffic congestion is expected to peak on May 25 and 26 between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m., as well as on May 31 during the return of holiday travelers.
The company urged motorway users to organize their trips in advance and check live traffic conditions through the “ADMTRAFIC” application, which provides real-time updates on road traffic across the network.
It also advised users of the “Jawaz” electronic toll service to verify and recharge their balances before traveling in order to avoid congestion at toll stations.
The motorway operator further called on drivers to respect road safety rules, take regular breaks during long journeys, and ensure the mechanical condition of their vehicles before departure.
