Moroccan popular singer Hajib announced his departure from the television program annajm chaabi, stating that the second season would mark his final participation as a member of the jury.
In a recently shared video statement, the artist reflected on his experience in the show, explaining that he had not initially intended to return for the current season before eventually agreeing following repeated contact from the organizers.
Hajib also referred to aspects of the program’s internal operations, saying that the role of the jury, which also includes stati, doudia, and atabou, does not fully reflect all decisions taken during the competition.
The artist further expressed reservations regarding some participants, stating that the show could have offered more opportunities to emerging talents instead of contestants already known in the music scene.
Hajib concluded by mentioning unresolved organizational and financial matters, including payments that he said had not yet been received.
