Morocco national team coach Mohamed Ouahbi announced that the final squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup will be officially revealed on May 26, with possible adjustments allowed until June 1.
Speaking to Arryadia TV, Mohamed Ouahbi said the technical staff scheduled a preparatory training camp from May 22 to May 26, involving players included in the preliminary squad list, in order to maintain their physical and technical readiness.
The coach added that Morocco’s World Cup preparations will begin early to ensure optimal readiness before traveling to the United States.
Players are expected to join the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora on May 29, shortly after the final squad announcement, before departing for the United States on June 3 to take part in the global tournament.
