In a new step reflecting the rapid urban growth experienced by Chrafat City, and under the direct supervision of the Governor of Fahs-Anjra Province, Al Omrane Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima officially launched a new housing project comprising 1,255 residential units after Chaabane Real Estate Group won the tender issued by the company as part of Morocco’s Royal Direct Housing Support Program.
The project represents a new milestone in transforming Chrafat into an integrated urban hub capable of attracting families, investors and workers from nearby industrial zones, particularly given the city’s strategic location along the corridor linking Tangier to Tanger Med Port.
The new development will cover a total area of nearly 46,000 square meters and will include, in addition to residential apartments, commercial shops, cafés, sports halls and service facilities, based on a modern architectural concept focused on quality of life, urban organization and compliance with environmental and engineering standards applied in urban planning and construction.

The project will be developed over an area of approximately 46,000 square meters and is based on a modern urban concept aimed at improving quality of life, urban organization and architectural appeal, while complying with current technical and environmental standards.
In addition to residential units, the development will include commercial shops, cafés and sports facilities as part of an integrated urban project scheduled for completion within 23 months.

Al Omrane Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima also confirmed that this project forms part of a broader program involving partnerships with several real estate developers to build residential projects over an area exceeding 15 hectares, with the objective of constructing more than 3,200 apartments and launching nearly 1,000 additional housing units in the near future.
As part of the field monitoring supervised by the provincial governor, local authorities and technical departments are working to facilitate administrative and technical procedures in order to ensure compliance with project deadlines and accelerate implementation.
The city is also expected to inaugurate its new local market in the coming period, which will include 35 commercial units, a restaurant and a modern fish retail space, further strengthening commercial and service offerings while giving an additional boost to local economic activity.
Chrafat, considered one of the largest urban development projects in northern Morocco, continues to strengthen its position as a promising residential and investment destination through the successive projects led by Al Omrane Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima in coordination with provincial authorities, making it a modern urban model that reflects Morocco’s vision for the cities of the future.
