The city of Tangier welcomed on Wednesday, May 6, a delegation of Arab journalists and media professionals as part of a visit organized by Tangier Press House within the activities of Rabat Arab Media Capital 2026, launched by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication.
Younes Tazi, wali of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region, received the delegation during a tour at the Kasbah Museum, where participants discovered several historical and cultural aspects that characterize the city of Tangier, reflecting its cultural and tourism significance.
The delegation also visited the facilities of Tangier Press House and learned about its media and cultural programs and activities, before taking part in a discussion session titled “Digital Writing Between Freedom and Influence”, attended by journalists, academics and researchers.
The visit concluded with a sightseeing tour that included Cape Spartel and Caves of Hercules, highlighting the city’s natural and heritage attractions.
