The city of Rabat hosted on Tuesday, May 05, the award ceremony of Khadija Boumelik, a student from Al Talouh middle school in Rehamna province, who was crowned national winner of the 10th edition of the Arabic Reading Challenge.
The competition brought together over seven million students from more than 17,000 schools across Morocco, making it one of the largest school reading initiatives focused on comprehension and analytical skills.
Following this achievement, the student will represent Morocco in the final stage scheduled in Dubai next October.
Rehamna province also recorded another success with Yahya Hammoud, who achieved third place nationally in the category of students with special needs.
Additional achievements were recorded in literature, sports, and environmental education programs, reflecting a broader educational dynamic in the region.
This progress is also linked to Benguerir’s inclusion in UNESCO’s Global Network of Learning Cities, highlighting a commitment to lifelong learning.
