The Court of First Instance in Rabat issued a ruling on May 5, 2026, convicting YouTuber Mohamed Reda Taoujni of defamation against Prince Moulay Hicham over content published on YouTube.
The court imposed a fine of 100,000 dirhams and ordered the removal of the content and publication of the ruling on the same platform.
The defendant was also ordered to pay 600,000 dirhams in damages to the complainant.
