The Royal Cabinet announced that King Mohammed VI has appointed Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan as coordinator of the offices and services of the General Command of the Royal Armed Forces.
According to the statement, King Mohammed VI himself held the same position when he was Crown Prince in 1985, following his appointment by the late King Hassan II.
The appointment is part of institutional continuity, with the Royal Armed Forces carrying out national, humanitarian and social missions under the King’s leadership, based on values such as discipline and responsibility.
The statement added that the Royal Armed Forces continue to operate in line with their guiding principles, reflecting continuity in their institutional role.
