    Around 12,000 participants join Rabat’s women’s race in festive atmosphere

    The city of Rabat hosted, last Sunday, the 16th edition of the “Victory” women’s race, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, with the participation of almost 12,000 girls and women from different age groups, in a sporting event with social and educational dimensions.

    The event was organized by the “Women, Achievements and Values” Association, and started at 10 a.m. from the entrance of the Experimental Garden at Bab Tamesna on Annasr Avenue, where participants took part in the race under normal organizational conditions.

    Held under the slogan “I run at my own pace,” participants covered a distance of seven kilometers by running, jogging, or walking, along a route passing through several major streets and landmarks in Rabat before returning to the starting point, the event also saw the participation of Moroccan women living abroad, African students, and associations including Special Olympics Morocco and the Lalla Asmaa Foundation for the deaf and hard of hearing, in a sporting and festive atmosphere.
