On April 21, the commune of Beni Ammart in Al Hoceima province witnessed the inauguration of a model multimedia library at the local services center, as part of efforts to strengthen cultural infrastructure and expand access to reading and learning spaces.
The opening ceremony was attended by the president of the communal council and member of parliament for the province, Noureddine Moudiane, alongside local authorities, education sector representatives, and civil society actors, highlighting the significance of the project.
This initiative is part of a partnership between the communal council and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Communication, aimed at improving access to cultural services and diversifying knowledge resources through both digital and traditional media.
The library is intended to serve as an open space for students and researchers, offering a diverse collection and modern digital tools to support reading and self-learning.
It is expected to contribute to the promotion of cultural life at the local level through educational and cultural activities.
