As part of ongoing reforms in Morocco’s health sector, official data indicates a significant rise in the use of the “Chikaya Santé” platform, a digital tool designed to enhance communication between citizens and the healthcare system.
Health Minister Amine Tahraoui stated that the platform recorded more than 764 complaints in just four days, a figure far exceeding the previous daily average of 10 complaints, reflecting the ministry’s digital transformation strategy.
According to the same source, the platform enables users to track their complaints and ensures processing timelines, thereby improving interaction with healthcare services.
The reforms also included field measures, such as strengthening emergency services with more than 531 healthcare professionals, alongside a 26 percent increase in medicine supplies, which helped improve the treatment rate of emergency cases from 74 percent to 96 percent.
These developments are part of broader efforts to improve healthcare services and ensure the continuity of reforms.
