Three people were killed, according to a preliminary toll, in a road accident that occurred on the road linking Mezoudia and Chichaoua, at the Ain El Beida area, on Sunday afternoon, April 19, 2026.
According to available information, the accident resulted from a violent collision between two large taxis, one traveling from Chichaoua toward Marrakech and the other from Marrakech toward Agadir, causing significant human losses at the scene.
The same sources reported that the victims include the driver of one of the vehicles and two passengers from Chichaoua and Marrakech, who were traveling in opposite directions before their journey ended tragically.
Civil protection teams and local authorities rushed to the scene after being alerted, where the injured were transported to the hospital, and an investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of the accident.
